Watch: The trailer for "That 90’s Show" is out!

Although the premise is the same, it feels and appears fresh. The trailer of “That ’90s Show,” a prequel to the wildly popular comedy “That ’70’s Show,” which reunites the old ensemble with a brand-new set of actors, was released by Netflix on Thursday.

The show’s focus will be on Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), the adolescent daughter of Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna, as shown in the teaser (Laura Prepon). The program centers on Leia and her pals as they navigate adolescence. Leia visits Red and Kitty (Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp), her grandparents, for the summer.

The kitchen and basement sets of the Forman home are prominently displayed in the trailer, as is Red’s annoyance that Leia’s new pals are once again filling up the house after it was finally free of “dumbasses.”

Grace, Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Wilmer Valderrama will all appear as guests in addition to Smith and Rupp, who are regulars on the show. The original cast is also included in the trailer.

The executive producers of “That 90s Show” are Bonnie and Terry Turner, who also co-created “That 70s Show,” their daughter Lindsey Turner, showrunner Gregg Mettler, Marcy Carsey, Tom Werner, Smith, and Rupp. The Netflix launch of “That ’90s Show” is January 19. (Hydroxyzine)
