A woman buried alive by her husband called 911 with Apple watch, and managed to escape a shallow grave

According to a report in The Daily, a woman in the United States who had been stabbed and buried alive by her husband managed a miracle escape and called the emergency services on her Apple watch.

The woman from Washington state was allegedly buried alive

After being beaten, taped, and buried alive by her ex-husband, a woman was saved because she was able to call 911 on her Apple watch. The Washington state woman allegedly survived being buried alive in the woods by her estranged husband and made it out of the shallow grave alive, according to authorities.

According to a declaration of probable cause submitted in Thurston County’s superior court on Wednesday, a sheriff’s officer saw a panicked lady cowering behind a shed in a house’s front yard just before 1 a.m. on Monday.

“My husband is trying to kill me,” the woman screamed, according to the court document.“She had duct tape still wrapped around her neck, lower face, and ankles,” the filing said.

“There was extensive bruising to her legs, arms, and head, and her clothing and hair were covered in dirt.”

Her husband was detained on charges of first-degree attempted murder

According to court records, the woman’s husband, Chae Kyong An, 53, was detained on charges of first-degree attempted murder, first-degree kidnapping, and first-degree assault.

The Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office reports that after being lodged in the county prison on Tuesday, a judge agreed to keep him without bail during a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

According to authorities, Kyong An has not yet been officially charged. According to the probable cause statement, police in Lacey, roughly 60 miles southwest of Seattle, arrived at the lady’s house after getting a 911 call about a woman who was “screaming” and “gagged.”

Later, the woman informed authorities that she had been attacked while discussing their ongoing divorce and finances with her husband.

According to the court complaint, Kyong An duct taped his wife’s thighs, ankles, eyes, and hands behind her back. When he left the bedroom, she allegedly issued an emergency notification and used her Apple watch to dial 911. He then carried her into the garage, where he allegedly used a hammer to smash her Apple watch.
