On Friday, August 25, Hannah Neeleman was crowned Mrs. American 2023 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The rancher and businesswoman, 33, represented South Dakota and defeated over 40 other contestants to win the coveted national title and the title of Mrs. America 2023.

The new Mrs. America is being acclaimed around the internet for her historic triumph and her epic pro-life reaction on stage, in which she extolled the joys of motherhood seconds before her historic victory. Onstage, a judge asked Hannah Neeleman the final question for the top three: “When have you felt the most empowered?” To this, Hannah took a moment and then answered: “I have felt this feeling seven times now as I bring these sacred souls to the earth.
