Breezy Explainer: Why Trump has teamed up with Lee Greenwood to sell $60 Bibles

On Tuesday (March 26), former US President Donald Trump collaborated with country music singer Lee Greenwood, known for the song “God Bless the USA,” to promote and sell expensive Bibles. The musician has consistently attended the former president’s political rallies.

“All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many,” said Trump in a video shared on Truth Social in which he announced the business deal.

“It’s my favorite book. It’s a lot of people’s favorite book. Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country, and I truly believe that we need to bring them back,” he said. “It’s one of the biggest problems we have. That’s why our country’s going haywire — we’ve lost religion in our country,” he said.

The Christian sacred book is the best-selling book in the world, and churches are constantly eager to provide it to the public for free.

The Bible is also available for free on several websites and apps, as well as in hotels and other locations.

How much does “God Bless The USA Bible” cost?

The “God Bless The USA Bible” is priced around $59.99 and does not include shipping or other expenses.

Buyers are meant to receive a variety of extra features that are generally not included in run-of-the-mill Bibles.

According to the website, the Trump-Greenwood Bible, a King James version, contains a copy of a “handwritten chorus” to Greenwood’s hit.

The Bible also contains the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance, according to the website.

According to the website, this is the “only Bible” that Greenwood or Trump have approved.

It added that it’s “the ONLY Bible inspired by America’s most recognized patriotic anthem, God Bless The USA.”

Trump appreciated the Founding Fathers for doing “a tremendous thing when they built America on Judeo-Christian values” and added that the foundation is under attack.

“I’m proud to endorse and encourage you to get this Bible. We must make America pray again,” he stated.

According to the website, the Bible’s content has been written in bold font, with Jesus’ words highlighted in red.
