Hezbollah fires missiles towards Northern Israel

According to sources, Lebanon-based Hezbollah, which has been opposing Israel’s invasion of Gaza following Hamas’ assault on October 7 last year, has fired hundreds of missiles on Northern Israel, to deplete the Jewish nation’s much-touted Iron Dome interceptors.

According to The Times of Israel, the Lebanese extremist group has claimed responsibility for the rocket attack on the Galilee Panhandle. According to a statement from Hezbollah, Katyusha rockets struck IDF artillery positions. However, no casualties or injuries have been reported as of yet.

This move comes amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran following Israeli strikes on the Iranian embassy in Syria, which elicited a strong response from Tehran.

This is a developing story; more to follow.
