Watch video: Spectators save cat falling from the upper story at US stadium

Spectators save cat

On the 20th anniversary of the horrific 9/11 attacks, spectators saved a cat with the help of a US flag. It was falling from the upper deck during a college football game in Florida.

The event occurred during the Miami Hurricanes’ game against Appalachian State.

It appears that its paw was entangled in a wire in the footage. Fans appeared to be worried, but people down below were prepared with an American flag. They were able to catch the cat and break its fall as it inevitably plunged to the ground.

In a tweet on the microblogging platform, Hard Rock Stadium said, “We are happy that due to the heads-up nature of fans in sections 107, 110 & 208, the cat landed safely after a harrowing fall. We wish the cat the best in his remaining eight lives.”

They also wrote, “We have made a donation to Humane Society Miami and encourage fans to do so.”

When the black and white cat was observed dangling from a wire on the upper deck of the Miami Gardens stadium before losing its grasp, the spectators were taken aback.

The viewers on the lower deck used a US flag to catch the cat as it dropped in that breathtaking moment. The crowd was ecstatic when the animal was safe, and there were cheers all around.
