Exposing Epstein List Will Be Top Priority for America Party: Elon Musk

Tech billionaire escalates feud with Trump, demands release of client list linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein

Washington, D.C., July 9, 2025— In a bold political move, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has declared that exposing the long-speculated Jeffrey Epstein client list will be a top priority of his newly launched political party, the America Party.

Taking to his platform X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Musk questioned President Donald Trump’s credibility, stating:

“How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won’t release the Epstein files?”

Musk Targets Trump and the Epstein Silence

Musk’s remarks come as part of an escalating feud with Trump. He has publicly criticized Trump’s administration for failing to take action on the Epstein scandal. On Monday, Musk shared an image mocking the White House with the caption “The Official Jeffrey Epstein Pedophile Arrest Counter,” which read “0000,” adding:

“What’s the time? Oh look, it’s no-one-has-been-arrested-o’clock again.”

The post sparked widespread attention, especially after Musk confirmed in a separate response that unveiling Epstein-related files would indeed rank “very high” on the America Party’s agenda.

Background: Epstein’s Ties and the Mysterious Death

Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender and financier, was arrested in July 2019 on federal charges including sex trafficking of minors. He died a month later in a New York jail, an incident officially ruled a suicide, though theories of foul play persist. Epstein’s alleged connections to global elites—including politicians, academics, and business magnates—have kept the case in the public eye.

Recent memos from Trump-era DOJ and FBI officials claim no credible evidence exists of a “client list” or blackmail network tied to Epstein. They also maintained there is no proof Epstein was murdered, reinforcing the official narrative of suicide.

Musk vs. Trump: A Growing Rift

Musk’s attacks highlight his deepening rift with Trump. While the two once shared overlapping support bases, Musk has increasingly criticized the former president on issues ranging from AI regulation to campaign integrity. Last month, Musk falsely alleged Trump was named in government files related to Epstein before quickly deleting the post.

Despite this, Musk’s renewed focus on Epstein’s ties may appeal to voters disillusioned with both traditional parties and the political elite’s perceived inaction on accountability.

America Party’s Political Ambitions

Musk announced the formation of the America Party last Saturday, positioning it as a centrist, anti-corruption force that will “restore transparency, fairness, and technological leadership in America.”

While critics question his political inexperience, Musk has hinted at backing candidates—or possibly running himself—in 2026 congressional races. Whether his crusade over the Epstein files gains policy traction or remains a campaign flashpoint remains to be seen.
