A former Nashville police officer who appeared in an X-rated video with a local OnlyFans creator while in uniform has avoided jail time after striking a plea deal.
Sean Herman, 35, pleaded no contest to felony official misconduct in Nashville’s criminal court on Thursday, more than a year after his arrest in connection with the controversial clip.
The Plea Deal
Under the agreement, Herman was sentenced to one year of supervised probation and granted judicial diversion—a legal provision that allows defendants who successfully complete probation to have their case dismissed and charges cleared from their record.
The ruling spares the ex-officer from serving prison time, though his future in law enforcement remains uncertain. A state board had already suspended his certification to serve as a police officer in Tennessee last year, pending the outcome of the criminal case.
The Video That Ended His Career
The scandal broke in May 2024, when detectives with Nashville’s Specialized Investigations Division identified Herman as the officer in a viral video produced by local OnlyFans model Jordin.
The staged skit, filmed in a warehouse parking lot, depicted a mock traffic stop. In the clip, Jordin exposes her breast and invites the officer to grope her in exchange for avoiding a ticket. The officer—later revealed to be Herman—complies, while Jordin is seen grabbing his crotch.
Though the video never showed Herman’s face, his police patch was briefly visible, exposing his ties to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD). Investigators later confirmed the shoot took place while Herman was on duty.
“This was one of the most outrageous, disrespectful acts that a person here could do—and by disrespectful, I mean to all the MNPD employees and this agency,” the department said when announcing Herman’s firing.
Arrest and Fallout
Herman was arrested in June 2024 and charged with two counts of official misconduct. He was released on a $3,000 bond and terminated from MNPD, where he had served for three years.
The case drew widespread attention, both because of Herman’s role and because of Jordin’s account of how the collaboration began.
According to Jordin, the officer responded to her post on Reddit seeking participants for promotional videos. She said she and her husband, known online as “hubs,” developed the idea for a fake traffic stop and shot the video with Herman before his shift started.
While the model insisted the clip was not intended for her OnlyFans subscribers but rather as a promotional teaser for X (formerly Twitter), the video went viral—amassing more than 2 million views and 5,500 retweets before being removed.
Jordin’s Perspective
In interviews following the scandal, Jordin defended Herman’s character.
“He was a very respectful guy, very polite, and wasn’t an officer that would’ve fit a profile that many are lumping him into,” she told OutKick in May 2024.
She also argued that local media coverage triggered the investigation, not her platform itself. “The video was sitting at 2 million views at that point and had been retweeted 5,500 times, so it’s safe to assume that was the culprit,” she said.
Despite the controversy, Jordin admitted her subscription numbers on OnlyFans soared in the aftermath.
What Comes Next for Herman?
While Herman escaped prison time with his no-contest plea, the judicial diversion means his future hinges on compliance with probation. If he completes it successfully, his case could be dismissed and his record cleared.
However, reinstatement as a police officer is far from guaranteed. The Tennessee Law Enforcement Standards Board will ultimately decide whether his certification—indefinitely suspended since August 2024—can be restored.
For now, the once-promising officer leaves the courthouse with a chance at a clean slate but a career in law enforcement in limbo.
