Delusion MFG, a firm headquartered in the United States, has been accused of failing to fulfill things requested by clients online and then informing them that they had been “scammed” after several months.
Two Reddit users raised the issue on the social media platform, claiming that the corporation never delivered the things promised after payment and responded in an unprofessional manner.
A Reddit user shared a screenshot of an email he received from Delusion MFG’s owner. The email stated that the company would be unable to dispatch their order or provide a refund.
The email read, “I just wanted to thank you for placing an order with us and let you know that unfortunately, we will neither be able to deliver your order nor refund you. In other words, we had to scam you this time.”
The Reddit user claimed in his post that he received this email after following up on an item that had not been shipped for several months.

Jalan, another consumer, received an identical email. He said that it took months for the headgear maker to ship his order of personalized beanies. The firm sent him blank beanies rather than the embroidered ones he had requested. The corporation urged him to return the damaged merchandise and then ignored him.
The owner of the company stated in the email that Mr. Jalan had been duped.
The Reddit user wrote, “The email we received next was hands down the most disrespectful/unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen. Robert Idell, the owner of Delusion MFG, sent us an email that read, ‘This is Robert Idell, owner of Delusion MFG. I just wanted to thank you for placing an order with us and let you know that unfortunately, we will neither be able to deliver your order nor refund you. In other words, we had to scam you this time’.”
In his post, Jalan described his experience as “unbelievably terrible.”
The message quickly went viral, and online people began questioning Robert Idell in the comments area. Mr Idell’s account allegedly responded to the popular message. He stated that he was no longer actively involved in the company’s management.
“I have not been focused on this business for the whole year. I had other emergencies I had deal with with other things I have been involved in,” he wrote and denied the allegations.
