One of Bollywood’s most beloved couple’s wedding preparations may begin soon. There have been talks in the town that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt may tie the knot on April 17. More information is now available. According to the ET Times, the festivities will begin on April 13 at Ranbir’s family home in Chembur. The Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies kick off the wedding preparations. Save-the-date invitations are out for delivery to close friends and families.
According to Pinkvilla, “The wedding is taking place in April. The wedding festivities will take place from April 13 – 17. During this period, the sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies are scheduled as well. Alia will wear Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi outfits for her wedding celebration.”
Their film ‘Brahmastra’ will be in theaters in September 2022
During this time, members of the Kapoor and Bhatt families have been requested to keep themselves free. The pair will throw a reception party for their industry friends at the end of April, even though the wedding will be a family affair. Despite reports that the couple was planning a destination wedding, Pinkvilla exclusively revealed a few days ago that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will marry at the RK House in Chembur, just like Rishi and Neetu Kapoor. The location was the choice of Ranbir Kapoor because of his desire to have a wedding like his parents.
The duo, who met while shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s film ‘Brahmastra‘, made their romance official in 2018 when they went in together at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception. ‘Brahmastra,’ their first feature, will be in theatres in September 2022.
