Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan’s forthcoming film, is already a box-office success. The film is expected to have a massive opening day box office collection. According to multiple estimates, the movie is expected to gross $1 billion on its opening day, and it has already earned $10 million in advance bookings in the United States. On Wednesday, trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan said on X (previously known as Twitter) that Jawan’s advance bookings in the United States have exceeded $150,000 (about Rs 1.25 crore) two weeks before the film’s September 7 release. “#Jawan advance bookings are fantastic in the United States.” Exceeds the $150,000 milestone. “Advance sales: $151,187; locations: 367; shows: 1607; tickets: 9691,” according to the post.

Jawan advance bookings began last week around the world

Jawan’s advance bookings began last week in overseas markets, nearly three weeks before the film’s debut. This is unusual for an Indian film, but given Shah Rukh’s popularity in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East, it is not surprising.

Jawan is directed by Atlee. The film also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in addition to Shah Rukh Khan. Anirudh has composed music for the film. Jawan will be released in three languages: Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. In India, advance booking sales have not yet commenced.
