The announcement of her new album came at the Grammys, where she won her fourth Album of the Year award.

In a delightful twist for her fans, Swift released an additional 15 songs titled ‘The Anthology’ just two hours following her main album launch.

While making the surprise announcement on Instagram, Taylor wrote, “It’s a 2 am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.”

The themes of the new album heavily focus on Taylor’s past relationships, romantic encounters, and heartbreaks. Before her public romance with Travis Kelce, she was linked to British actors Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy.
