After experiencing a recent health scare while filming his most recent project, Jamie Foxx is still being treated in an Atlanta, Georgia, hospital.
Foxx, 55, took to Instagram to tell his 17 million followers that he feels “blessed” and “appreciates” all their love, followed by praying hands, heart, and fox emojis.
After several media sites said that his family was “getting ready for the worst,” his daughter Corinne Foxx announced on Friday (12 May) that the actor had been out of the hospital “for weeks.”
She commented on Instagram, “Sad to see how the media runs wild.” “My dad has been recovering outside of the hospital for weeks. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday!”
The adored Hollywood actor was working on his new Netflix feature film Back In Action with Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close when he experienced a medical emergency and was taken to the hospital.
Cameron Diaz had paused her acting career in 2014, but Foxx persuaded her to return for the project. This incident took place in the middle of April, two weeks before the project’s completion. Therefore, the remaining scenes had to be finished by the production team using body doubles.
