According to lottery authorities, a lady in Germany had a winning lottery ticket in her purse for weeks before learning it was worth nearly $39 million. The 45-year-old lady was also the lone winner of a draw on June 9. She correctly guessed seven fields on a German lottery ticket, according to Lotto Bayern.
It quoted the woman, who wasn’t named, saying; “I still get dizzy at the thought that I carelessly carried almost 33 million euros around in my purse for several weeks.”
The mother of one chose random numbers on the 1.20-euro ticket. She has no plans to play again. Also, she claims that the prize was “more than enough for my husband, my daughter, and me.”
