The majority of us had enormous ambitions that were inspired by our favorite cartoons, comics, or storybooks. However, a seven-year-old youngster has stunned the world by not just fantasizing but also becoming a famous fashion designer. The story twist: he claims that his fantasies are influenced by his past life.
Max Alexander, a first-grader, asserts that in his former incarnation, he was the famed fashion designer Gucci and that his aspirations in this life are motivated by his work and devotion to his previous existence.
While you may not believe in reincarnation, there is no denying the aptitude this seven-year-old possesses.
The little boy who started designing and creating clothes when he was only four years old told People magazine that “I actually was, Gucci.” The magazine reports that these words were said, “with confidence”.
His mother, Sherri Madison, told the magazine that she didn’t notice his talent or interest in dressmaking at first.
“I didn’t notice. He told us. We were at dinner during the lockdown, and he just literally announced, ‘I need a mannequin,'” she recalled during the interview.
“He was very serious. No laughing. I was like, ‘Okay, I’ve never seen you interested in fashion. What are you talking about?’ He said, ‘That’s because I don’t have a mannequin. If you get me a mannequin, I’ll show you. I’m a dressmaker.'”
Max’s Empowering Cardboard Fashion: Making women feel beautiful, one design at a time
Max’s first cardboard mannequin was created by Sherri, a cardboard artist. Max now has several professional ones, and his designs have been purchased by celebrities such as Sharon Stone.
According to his mother, Max’s motivation for the designs is a desire to make women feel attractive.
“He wants women to feel beautiful and that’s the drive behind it,” she told People magazine adding, “He’s never expressed any interest in wearing the dresses himself. And he doesn’t make men’s wear. He really wants women of all sizes to feel beautiful.”
Max has sold over a hundred of his designs globally and has even staged fashion shows. According to his mother, he aspires to “be the head of the house of Gucci or he wants to have his own atelier, Couture to the Max Italian.”
