The woman in Windsor Farm video is not Kate Middleton, says BBC reporter Sonja McLaughlan

A BBC sports reporter claimed that the woman in the video with Prince William at Windsor Farm was not Kate Middleton. The Princess of Wales’ alleged sighting sparked speculation, with many believing it was her body double. Her absence from the public eye sparked speculation about her whereabouts after abdominal surgery.

TMZ reported that the video showed Kate and William visiting Windsor Farm Store, which is about a mile from their home in Windsor. Many onlookers said she appeared “happy, relaxed, and healthy.” Their three children were not spotted with them.

Now the BBC’s rugby specialist, Sonja McLaughlan, has doubled down on the online theories. She even suggested that William may have been replaced by an actor.

McLaughlan commented on a video comparing the person in the Windsor Farm video to previous images of Kate. “It’s so obviously not Kate,” she wrote. “Some newspapers are reporting it as fact. But it’s not her. No conspiracy theorist, but all very odd.”

Kate has been embroiled in several controversies in recent months, including her planned abdominal surgery, her absence from public life, and her Mother’s Day photo row.

Several news outlets recently removed Kate’s Mother’s Day photo, claiming it was manipulated. “At closer inspection, it appears that the source has manipulated the image,” reports the Associated Press. Agence France-Presse reported that it was withdrawn due to “an editorial issue.”
