Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik reunite for Young Sheldon finale

Jim Parson and Mayim Bialik, stars of The Big Bang Theory, will appear as guests in the series finale, expanding Young Sheldon’s role. This is the most significant crossover between the Big Bang Theory and the Sheldon series. In addition, it will be the two actors’ first reunion since the program ended.

What we know about the Young Sheldon series finale

There is not much said about the Young Sheldon series finale since the creators want it to be a surprise for fans. We do know that the last episode will air on May 16.

Jim Parsons has been with Young Sheldon since its inception, working as both the show’s narrator and one of its executive producers. Mayim Bialik has also provided guest voiceovers for two episodes. The two will reunite on screen for the first time since The Big Bang Theory’s series finale in May 2019.

Young Sheldon started in 2017, and The Big Bang Theory ended its run in 2019 after debuting in 2007.

A new Young Sheldon spin-off series is in development

Meanwhile, a new Young Sheldon spin-off series is in development. Montana Jordan and Emily Osment will return to the series. The untitled show will follow Georgie and Mandy as they raise their family in Texas. Unlike Young Sheldon, the show will be a multi-camera comedy. It was first reported to be in the works back in January.
