Teresa ‘Reesa Teesa’ McCoy, a TikTok user, has captivated millions of viewers with her dramatic story of marrying and divorcing a man she refers to as ‘Legion’ in five months. The series headlined ‘Who TF Did I Marry?!?, has become one of the most viral phenomena of 2024, causing memes, pandemonium, and a keyboard war on social media. Reesa Teesa alleges that her ex-husband, ‘Legion’, was a scam artist who lied to her about everything, including his identity, work, family, past, and even his twin brother. She claims he duped her into marrying him during the pandemic and then attempted to destroy her life with his schemes and frauds. Doesn’t that sound like a plot written by Jane Austen? Or a movie from Tyler Perry’s production?

Reesa Teesa shared 52 videos on her TikTok account @reesamteesa, each lasting approximately 10 minutes

She shared 52 videos on her TikTok account, @reesamteesa, each lasting approximately 10 minutes and recounting the entire story from how they met to how they split. She also held a two-hour live webcast, where she answered questions from her followers and shared more information. Her videos have had more than 100 million views, and her account has 3.4 million followers and 34.4 million likes. In those videos, the TikTok viral girl describes how ‘Legion’ promised to take her to her ideal places, such as London and Paris, but never followed through. She says she still wants to visit such destinations on her own eventually. She also urges other ladies to be wary of individuals like him and to put themselves first.

A man claiming to be the true ‘Legion’ has responded to Reesa Teesa’s charges by accusing her of lying and cheating. He introduces himself as Jerome McCoy, the twin brother of Reesa Teesa’s husband. He claims he left her because he discovered her with another man named Bradley in their home, and he plans to take her to court. He says he’s going to sue Reesa Teesa and TMZ for defamation and slander. (TMZ previously reported in their story that they purportedly identified Jerome McCoy as ‘Legion’). Reesa Teesa has disputed Jerome McCoy’s charges and urged her admirers not to contact him. She claims he is psychologically ill and dangerous. Another woman, LaToya Averett, has expressed interest in the viral drama, claiming to be Jerome McCoy’s first wife. She claims he also lied to her and attempted to wreck her life. She supports Reesa Teesa and claims they are both victims of his abuse.
