How about making $1,000 to watch movies nonstop? One winner will receive a reward from a financial website if they can commit to watching the “Fast and the Furious” movie series for more than 20 hours over the course of two weeks. A “Fast and Furious claims adjuster” is needed by FinanceBuzz, a website that provides advice on handling money, to watch all 10 entries in the Vin Diesel-starring action series, the first of which was released in 2001.

The contest winner will be tasked with noting every car crash that results in damage and the extent of the damage

“F9: The Fast Saga,” the franchise’s ninth installment, raked in over $400 million after its release in 2021. The claims adjuster’s mission: track damages from every car crash that occurs in each film, including the upcoming “Fast X,” which debuts May 19. The contest winner will be tasked with noting every car crash that results in damage, the extent of the damage, and what cars are involved. “As a bonus, you’ll get a healthy education about the value of family,” the company said in a news release, with a nod to the franchise’s well-known theme.

According to the release, FinanceBuzz also wants to know if there have been more or fewer on-screen collisions throughout the run of the series. According to the job description, the website plans to use the claims adjuster’s findings to calculate the insurance impact of the global billion-dollar franchise’s careless driving. The business promises to include the winner’s notes in a subsequent piece. The chosen candidate must be able to watch “Fast X” in a theatre and rent or stream films at home in order to be considered for the position. US residents can apply until May 19; the winner will be notified by May 26, according to FinanceBuzz.
