After 2 years of season 2 finale, Netflix has announced we can expect Umbrella Academy season 3 sometime soon in 2022. The series is based on the graphic novels by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá.
The story presents the dysfunctional family of Hargreeves. The adopted superhero siblings are brought back to follow their father’s mysterious death. They subsequently learn about an impending apocalypse. While season 2, depicts the group traveling back after failing to stop the apocalypse and so on.

Netflix has announced that the name of the new season will be the same as the third part of the graphic novel. The new season will take place at Hotel Oblivion. However, because season 2 ended with the introduction to Sparrow Academy as a main issue in the next chapter, the announcement that season 3 will take place in Hotel Oblivion is interesting.
Those with knowledge of the sources are aware of the variations in the show. One of the largest alterations in Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy, is the Sparrow Academy.
Umbrella Academy became the third most viewed show for Netflix in the year 2019. After season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, the good news for fans is that their way may end soon. Netflix is still to put an exact date on for the premiere.
