How to clean your leather

If you are looking to do spot cleaning, there are 3 most effective ways: Cleaning + conditioning + polishing

Cleaning

Leather has a natural oil and the cleaning product should be able to retain its natural properties. Like, URAD cream. Before actually cleaning the product, test it on a smaller patch. Choose an area that is less visible. This will make sure the outcome is as you expected. Use a wet towel – but again not too wet or it can leave a stain – then dip an end of the cloth into the product cream. Dab the solution on your product in a circular motion gently. Then allow some time for it to dry fully. Once you see the result as desired, use the product on the entire product.

Conditioning: During exposure of your leather products to very warm and humid temperatures, it is important to clean your leather several times. Leather has natural oil and conditioner should be able to preserve those in your leather goods. Products with petroleum or mineral oils are best avoided. We suggest Urad tenderly.

Polishing: We all love the glossy look of our leather products. This is best achieved by polishing spray. Spray with oil is best avoided as that may darken your leather.

On the go tips

Oil: cornstarch absorbs the extra oil from the leather. Sprinkle cornstarch on the affected area, let it sit for 15 minutes, then gently remove the powder using a toothbrush and wipe clean using a dry cloth.

Alcohol: Dab cotton ball into alcohol and gently pat on the leather product.

Water: Dip a wet cloth into moisturizing soapy water. Dab in the area you want to clean.

Mildew: Mix water and alcohol in equal quantity and then dip a towel into the solution and pat it on the product gently using a circular motion. Allow leather to get fully dry.

From cleaning to conditioning to polishing and protecting the beauty and life of your favourite leather products, the Urad has got you covered. Whether you are obsessed with your jacket, wallet, skater dress or shoes, your most expensive recliner leather chair, or your car interiors, or even that priced calf-leather handbag URAD works perfectly on all kinds of leathers.
