According to L’Equipe, Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is “seeking to engineer” a transfer to Manchester City in the coming days. Ronaldo’s current contract will expire in 2022. The report adds that Man City is willing to pay his ‘€31m a year salary’, but they are unwilling to pay a high transfer fee.

According to a report in L’Equipe, Ronaldo is keen to move on from Juventus despite one year still to go in his contract. It has been learned that Manchester City was offered Ronaldo by the latter’s agent Jorge Mendis. Initial talks that were held saw Juventus demanding a transfer fee of 25 million euros.

The French publication also claimed that Ronaldo and his team have been working on a deal between Juventus and City in recent days.
