Exclusive Creator Content: Instagram is testing a monthly subscription plan for ₹89

Instagram is creating an exclusive subscription service for exclusive creator content. This new service will allow content creators to make a living by offering exclusive content to their followers.

What is Instagram’s exclusive creator content?

TechCrunch, a tech website spotted that Instagram’s new exclusive creator content feature is releasing soon. Additionally, the app store listing on iOS for Instagram shows a new ‘Instagram Subscriptions’ tab in the in-app purchases field. The platform is testing a new subscribe button that will appear on the creator’s profile. Fans can use it to subscribe and get access to exclusive content. This will include both stories and live videos. (Ultram) A special member badge will also appear next to your username whenever you comment on a creator’s posts or send them a direct message. This badge will help in prioritizing your message and interaction with the creator.

Instagram head, Adam Mosseri teased the idea of exploring special subscriptions on Instagram. The feature has been undergoing testing for quite a while now. Experts believe that it will be similar to Twitter’s Twitter Blue where select fans get access to exclusive tweets and content. On the other hand, creators can keep track of their earnings, members, and statistics. The platform will also allow creators to customize their subscription prices and names.
