Prince Harry and William ‘likely’ to reunite and King Charles to ‘play peacemaker’: Report

Prince Harry and William 'likely' to reunite, King Charles to 'play peacemaker'

Royal fans are hoping for a reunion between Prince Harry and his estranged brother, Prince William. The two brothers’ relationship has been difficult for some years, and it has attracted the world’s interest, especially since the disclosures of King Charles and Kate Middleton’s cancer battles.

Despite Harry’s announcement of his new home in the United States and his desire to return to the UK to spend time with his estranged family, rumors of a reconciliation between the brothers persist, with speculation centered on the need for a ‘peacemaker.’

According to Buckingham Palace, King Charles has made “positive progress” in his cancer treatment, despite allegations that his funeral preparations were updated due to his health. Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex plans to come to the UK in May to commemorate the tenth anniversary of his Invictus Games. While the likelihood of Meghan and their children joining him is minimal, the young royal is said to want to spend time in the UK with his family.

It is “very likely” that when Harry returns, he will team up with Prince William again

According to one royal insider, it is “very likely” that when Harry returns, he will team up with Prince William again, with Charles possibly attempting to mediate between the brothers’ warring factions.

Harry and Meghan, who stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and have since lived in the United States, have made only a few trips back to the UK. The family was last seen in London, attending Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. Following King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, Harry returned home for a few hours before traveling back to the United States.

“It is very likely that Harry and William will see each other next month, and anything is possible,” Harrlod tells Sky News Australia. “The King will want the brothers to patch things up so it’s more than likely that he could play peacemaker.” He adds.

Harrlod said, “Family means everything to the King, like his mother and one of his top priorities will be to ensure that this family rift is healed.”

The royal family has been through a turbulent year, particularly following the shocking disclosures in Harry’s memoir, Spare. The situation further worsened following the shocking interview with Oprah Winfrey. Meghan revealed that she faced serious mental health issues while working as a royal, including suicidal thoughts. Harry said that both his brother and father felt “trapped” within the monarchy.
