Putin ready to end war with Ukraine, calls the war a 'tragedy'

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Moscow is prepared to end the conflict in Ukraine, calling it a “tragedy.” The Kremlin chief, who dispatched soldiers to Ukraine in February 2022, blamed Volodymyr Zelensky for the ongoing conflict. On top of the many civilian casualties in Ukraine, both sides have lost thousands of military personnel.

Putin is allegedly planning to use his G20 speech to push international leaders to devise a strategy to end the war. “Military actions are always a tragedy,” Russian President Vladimir Putin remarked during a virtual conference on Wednesday. Of course, we must consider how to avert this calamity. “By the way, Russia has never refused peace talks with Ukraine.” Ukrainian President Zelensky signed a decree in October 2022 declaring that peace talks between his country and Putin are “impossible”.

Putin has also emphasized broader geopolitical issues, claiming that global economic activity is shifting toward Asia

Putin has also emphasized broader geopolitical issues, claiming that global economic activity is shifting toward Asia. He went on to say that Russia had donated grain to Africa and emphasized the country’s commitment to contribute to global climate and development goals. According to Western analysts, Putin is attempting to lure African countries into Russia’s sphere of influence. On Wednesday, Zelensky admitted that his forces will suffer a “difficult” winter as Kyiv’s men resist Russian attacks.

He went on to say: “Difficult weather, difficult defense on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Donetsk and Avdiivka fronts.” Earlier this week, Zelensky told The Sun that he had survived several Russian murder attempts. He said: “The first one is very interesting when it is the first time, and after that it is just like Covid. “First of all, people don’t know what to do with it and it’s looking very scary. “And then after that, it is just intelligence sharing with you—details that one more group came to Ukraine to attempt this.”

He also asked Western governments to continue to back Ukraine. Zelensky went on to say: “For some reason, people treat it like a movie and expect that there will be no long pauses in the events, that the picture before their eyes will always change, and that there will be some surprises every day.”But this is not a film for us, our troops. This is our existence. This is the everyday grind. And it will take longer than we would want, but we have no right to give up and will not.”
