The most recent CNN/UNH survey shows a significant gain in support for both Mr Trump and Ms Haley compared to early January results. In the last poll, Mr Trump had 39% support, while Ms Haley had 32%. The concentration of the field, with prominent rivals withdrawing, has driven an increase in support for both candidates. Despite Nikki Haley’s significant gains since late summer, Mr Trump maintains a commanding lead, increasing the margin to a double-digit figure.
