The Salmon Chopped Cheese piqued the interest of netizens, particularly New Yorkers, and many wondered who recommended the restaurant to him. Many New Yorkers were also disappointed that their favorite restaurants were not featured in the video.
While in New York, he asked his audience to recommend several pizza joints, adding that his goal for the New York video was to rank the “top three suggested spots.”
Lee ordered a single slice of cheese pizza and a single slice of their most popular combination pizza from each restaurant, reviewed them individually in front of the camera in his car, and posted about them on TikTok (@keith_lee125).

Other users also mentioned Keith Lee’s original goal for creating the food review videos, which was to assist struggling small business owners. His recent videos, according to some, are against his mission.
