UK-IndiaYoung Professionals Scheme for Indian citizens: Check eligibility

2.400 Indians have been invited to apply for visas through the UK-India Young Professionals Scheme. The opening dates for the ballots have been declared as February 28, 2023, by the British High Commission in India. If they meet the requirements, Indian nationals between the ages of 18 and 30 may apply for the program. The best feature of the program is that applying for a visa is free and does not require a sponsor or a job. Those who meet the requirements may enter the UK while their visa is still valid.

Young Professionals Visa UK, which was recently introduced, allows Indian nationals to work in the UK for up to 24 months. They can enter and exit the country at will while their Young Professionals Visa is valid. The whole information about the Young Professionals Visa UK for Indian Nationals between the ages of 18 and 30 is provided below. Eligibility for the UK-India Young Professionals Visa Program

Interested candidates can apply for the UK-India Young Professionals Visa Scheme if they qualify for the given eligibility criteria. 

1. You must be an Indian national/citizen between 18 and 30 years. 

2. You must be 18 years and above when you travel to the UK. 

3. You must have a bachelor’s degree level or above.

4. You must have a minimum of £2,530 (INR 2.6 Lakhs) in savings to support yourself in the United Kingdom. 

5. You must not have children living with you or be financially dependent on you. 

To apply for the UK government’s Young Professionals Scheme, you must first enter the India Young Professionals Scheme ballot. If you are successful, you will receive an invitation with the visa application. As a result, you are eligible to apply for the UK-India Young Professional Scheme.

Documents Required for the UK-India Young Professionals Visa Scheme

The following documents are required for UK-India Young Professionals Scheme applications:

  • Passport/Other documents establishing identity and nationality
  • Proof showing £2,530 saving in your bank account, preferably bank statements
  • Proof of credentials and qualifications
  • Results of tuberculosis whether you reside in India or another country on the list
  • Indian police report or clearance certificate
  • Blank passport page for visa

UK-India Scheme for Young Professional Visas: Expiration

2,400 Indian citizens will get visas from the UK government as part of the Young Professionals Scheme. By utilizing the ballot, you can apply for the program. The visa is good for 24 months.

Young Professionals Visa Scheme between the UK and India: Application Fee

It costs nothing to vote in the UK-India Young Professionals Scheme election. If chosen, you will have to pay a £259 (INR 26,000) application fee as well as a £940 (INR 94,000) healthcare premium for the UK Young Professionals visa.
