Road rage incident caught on camera in southwest Houston
A road rage incident in southwest Houston, Texas, has gained attention after a driver in a grey Lexus appeared to brandish a holstered gun at a Tesla Cybertruck. The tense moment was caught on video while both vehicles were in motion, raising concerns about escalating aggression on the road.
Video sparks debate over authenticity of weapon
The footage, which has since gone viral, shows the Lexus driver holding what many believe to be a firearm encased in a holster.
“Gun is in the holster. Note his finger on the trigger,” one X user pointed out.
However, not everyone is convinced that the object was a weapon. “It’s not a gun. It’s not a holstered gun. I don’t know what it is, but he’s trying to scare someone by pretending it’s a gun. It’s not a gun,” another user countered.
Texas-based entrepreneur Omar Khan also weighed in, sharing a zoomed-in image of the Lexus driver. “I haven’t gone to the range in a while, so someone, please tell me which type of gun I see here?” he asked. While questioning the validity of the gun claim, he added, “That theory has become the winner one so far. Although, in my opinion, the front part looks too long for a handgun. Regardless, this maniac should be charged. What he did is not only stupid but also dangerous. He almost crashed against the Cybertruck. Thank God he did not. That would have caused a massive accident. I know those roads. Cars go fast, at 80 mph easily.”
Rising violence against Tesla owners
The incident comes amid a growing wave of violent acts targeting Tesla owners and facilities. Authorities across multiple states are investigating a series of attacks, with anti-Musk activists accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at Tesla locations in Colorado, Nevada, and Oregon. Additionally, Tesla vehicles in these areas have reportedly been vandalized.
In Texas, officials confirmed the discovery of multiple incendiary devices at a Tesla facility, adding to the string of threats against the company.
Controversial online doxxing of Tesla owners
Earlier this month, a website named ‘Dogequest’ allegedly leaked the personal details of Tesla owners across the United States. The site reportedly issued a warning that only those who sold their Tesla vehicles would have their information removed.
As investigations continue, the latest road rage incident serves as yet another example of the heightened hostility surrounding Tesla and its drivers.
