Models and influencers created by artificial intelligence will compete in a “Miss AI” beauty competition for a prize of $20,000. According to Forbes, this is the world’s first AI beauty pageant, and the participants will be judged based on their appearance, internet popularity, and technical expertise in developing them.

This is the first time such a contest has been held, and future ones will focus on fashion, diversity, and computer-generated males.
It will also feature Fanvue, a subscription-based platform that hosts virtual models, as a WAICA partner.
The first prize is $5,000 cash, which will be awarded to the Miss AI winner (or the developer), along with Fanvue promotion and public relations assistance. The runner-up and third-place finishers will also receive monetary prizes.
The winners will be announced on May 10, with an online awards ceremony taking place later that month.
The entries opened on Sunday.
Two of the four judges on the panel are AI-generated: Aitana Lopez of Spain, who has over 300,000 Instagram followers, and Emily Pellegrini, who has over 250,000 Instagram followers.
The other two are humans: Andrew Bloch, an entrepreneur and public relations consultant, and Sally-Ann Fawcett, a beauty pageant historian and author of Misdemeanors: Beauty Queen Scandals.
“It’s been a fast learning curve expanding my knowledge on AI creators, and it’s quite incredible what is possible,” Forbes quoted Ms Fawcett as saying in a statement.
Andrew Bloch tweeted, “I’m honored to be on the judging panel for Miss AI and helping to crown the world’s first digital Miss World.”
According to the criteria, participants must be entirely AI-generated, with no limitations on the technologies used. “Miss AI welcomes creations produced from any type of generator, whether it’s DeepAI, Midjourney, or your own tool,” according to the guidelines.
According to the website of the contest, thousands of entries have been submitted.
