Lil Uzi Vert or Symere Bysil Woods shared with TMZ that while attending the 18th anniversary of JayZ’s 40/40 club in late August, fans ripped out his pink diamond implant. He revealed that it occurred during a performance at Rolling Loud Miami 2021, an annual music festival. “I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped into the crowd and they kind of ripped it out. I still have the diamond so I feel good,” said the 26-year-old.
The ‘XO Tour Lilf3′ rapper debuted his forehead piercing in February on Instagram. The diamond is reported to cost million. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face,” he tweeted. Additionally, he added that it was ’10 almost 11 carats.’ According to the rapper, the diamond costs more than all his cars and home together.
The aftermath of a mishap
Uzi shared an image of the piercing with the caption ‘Beauty is pain’ in an Instagram post, which is now deleted. “If I don’t get it took out the right way, I could die… No, seriously,” he tweeted with a now-deleted image of blood trickling from his forehead. However, he later tweeted showing off the sparkling diamond consoling fans that he was fine.
Moreover, the diamond is insured. When a fan inquired why he didn’t just place it on a ring, he tweeted back with a reply. “If I lose the ring yeah U will make fun of me more than putting it in my forehead haha jokes on you ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha… And yes I do have insurance,” said the rapper.
