Actor Zac Efron experienced a minor health scare while vacationing in Ibiza, Spain. Following a small mishap in a swimming pool, he was taken to a hospital as a precaution but was discharged shortly afterward without any serious injuries.

Efron, in Europe for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, was staying at a villa in Ibiza when the incident occurred on the night of August 2. Villa employees promptly pulled him out of the pool and he was taken to the hospital. His representative reassured fans, stating, “He is fine.
Before the incident, Efron was seen on stage with DJ Martin Garrix at the Ushuaïa Ibiza Hotel and Beach Club, dancing and enjoying his vacation. Efron was taking a break after a busy year with roles in films like “The Iron Claw,” “Ricky Stanicky,” and his Netflix romantic comedy “The Family Affair,” co-starring Nicole Kidman and Joey King.
Efron and Kidman shared their excitement about working together again in “The Family Affair,” their first collaboration since “The Paperboy” in 2013. Efron remarked, “I jumped at the chance. I think we both did. It was like, this is perfect. What better way to reconnect? And we get to have fun.”
