Mexico’s Andrea Meza won the Miss Universe 2020 title on May 16th, 2021. The 69th Miss Universe pageant took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. She beat 73 different ladies, including runner-up Miss Brazil Julia Gama and second runner-up Miss Peru Janick Maceta Del Castillo, to win the title. The 26-year-old is the third Mexican woman to ever win the title.

Andrea has a degree in software engineering. She hails from Chihuahua, a city in Mexico, and she experienced childhood in an enormous family. Andrea is likewise the Tourism Brand Ambassador for Chihuahua, promoting the best vacation spots and rich culture. She is also an activist on women’s rights and incorporation and at present works intimately with the Municipal Institute for Women, which means to end gender violence. Andrea Meza is a certified make-up artist and model. She does CrossFit and outrageous games, for example, rappel and sand-boarding. Also, she is a vegan as she has concerns for the prosperity of the world and animals. She is also the Mexican Universal 2020 and Miss Mexico 2017, later the runner-up of Miss Word 2017.

She answers the question beautifully.“We live in a society that more and more is more than advanced, and as we advance as a society, we have also advanced with stereotypes. Nowadays, beauty is not only the way we look. For me, beauty radiates not only in our spirit but in our hearts and the way that we conduct ourselves. Never permit anyone to tell you that you are not valuable.”
