Netflix

For a flight attendant on one of its private jets, Netflix is willing to pay more than $350,000 per year ($385,000). The chosen individual will work on a super-midsize jet that travels on both domestic and international routes, and must have “independent judgment, discretion, and great customer service skills.”

The primary flight attendant should be self-driven and able to load an aircraft

The primary flight attendant should be self-driven and able to load an aircraft with cargo weighing at least 13.6 kg. Other duties specified by Netflix on its website include checking the emergency equipment in the cockpit, cabin, and gallery as well as aiding flights on Gulfstream G550 aircraft. These activities are in addition to pre-flight duties and passenger briefings.

The position, which would be situated in San Jose, California, close to the company’s Los Gatos headquarters, would require both domestic and international travel. Candidates must be certified in flight safety training by the Federal Aviation Administration, and they must be available to travel to Burbank for meetings. The person would answer to either the pilot in command or the manager of the flight attendants.

The Netflix Aviation department provides exceptional, safe, confidential air transportation

The average yearly wage for flight attendants in the US is a little over $62,000, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. The streaming behemoth continued, “The salary will depend on the background, skills, experience, and location of the candidate,” and offered a market range of $60,000 to $385,000 for this position.

“The Netflix Aviation department provides exceptional, safe, confidential air transportation,” the advertisement states. It added that the aviation team enables the platform to reach the world in a more effective manner so it can continue to spread “joy around the world”. In 2022, after a fall in numbers and rising competition, Netflix slashed hundreds of jobs.
