Prince Harry’s partying days with Sean “Diddy” Combs have come under scrutiny as the latter faces prison time on a slew of horrifying sexual assault and sex trafficking charges. The former music magnate is currently facing sexual assault claims filed by one of his former producers, Rodney Jones.
In connection with the case, authorities raided Diddy’s two properties on March 26, in Miami and Los Angeles. It seemed like a scene from an action movie as armored trucks surrounded his residences and sealed off the entire neighborhood. There were claims that Sean was attempting to flee, but these were dispelled when the artist handled the issue calmly. Authorities detained some individuals at the property with their hands bound by zip ties.
Prince Harry is named in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex assault case
While Prince Harry is not accused of any wrongdoing, his proximity to the rapper during the alleged actions is being questioned. Rodney Jones named the former royal in the litigation, which brought up his name.
Jones, who claims he was groped, harassed, and intimidated by Sean “Diddy” Combs, claims in his lawsuit that Diddy’s co-defendants were rewarded “for participating in and facilitating Combs’ sex trafficking venture” by receiving “affiliation and access to Mr. Combs’ popularity.” Jones originally filed the lawsuit in February.
In mid-November, R&B artist Cassandra Ventura filed another lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of physical abuse, sexual slavery, and rape during a 10-year professional and romantic relationship.
The case alleges violations of sex trafficking and human trafficking laws.
As for Jones’ lawsuit, he said, “Mr. Combs was known for throwing the ‘best’ parties. Affiliation with, and or sponsorship of Mr Combs’ sex-trafficking parties garnered legitimacy and access to celebrities such as famous athletes, political figures, artists, musicians, and international dignitaries like the British royal, Prince Harry.”
The royal family’s encounter with controversies
Years ago, Prince Andrew’s name appeared in another prominent case involving Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged sexual offenses. His name appeared in US court filings as the Jeffrey Epstein/Ghislaine Maxwell controversy became public. Eventually, he was accused of sexual assault by Epstein’s victim Virginia Giuffre, and he settled the case with a multi-million dollar arrangement. Most recently, the disgraced prince was accused of taking part in an orgy with minor victims.
