Kourtney Kardashian surprised her Instagram followers on April 10 by sharing an unconventional remedy for feeling unwell: drinking breast milk, presumably her own.
Posting a selfie on her Instagram Stories, Kardashian wrote, “I just pounded a glass of breast milk because I feel sick. goodnight!”
The 44-year-old reality TV star, who recently welcomed her fourth child, Rocky, with husband Travis Barker, has been open about her postpartum experiences. She even posted a photo of herself using a breast pump before attending an event in full glam.

While the benefits of breast milk for infants are extensively researched and documented, it remains uncertain whether it provides similar benefits for adults. This isn’t the first time a Kardashian has admitted to using breast milk as a remedy.
In 2013, Kourtney’s younger sister Kim shared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she tried breast milk to treat psoriasis.
Last month, Kourtney posted a picture of Rocky’s tiny feet and expressed gratitude for every moment spent with her children. She said “Feeling so grateful for every single second of time with my babies. Rare to get 2 full weeks of 24/7 time as they get older! Thank you, Australia for the beautiful memories (minus the spiders).”Â
Kourtney has 3 kids from her ex, Scott Disick. In November last year, she welcomed Rocky with Travis Barker. She is also stepmother to Travis’ son Landon and daughter Alabama.
