Woman sues Sean 'Diddy' Combs for alleged drugging and rape

A woman named Thalia Graves has come forward with shocking allegations against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming she was drugged, assaulted, and filmed without her consent 20 years ago. Graves, now 45, held an emotional press conference streamed live, where she detailed the traumatic incident and the lasting impact it has had on her life.

Allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs

Graves alleges that when she was 25, Combs and his then-bodyguard, Joseph Sherman, drugged and sexually assaulted her at Bad Boy Records’ studio in New York City. According to her lawsuit, the assault took place on a pool table and was recorded. Graves claims that the video was later shown to “multiple men.”

In her press conference, Graves broke down in tears, explaining how the assault has caused her lifelong trauma. “The internal pain after being assaulted has been incredibly deep and hard to put into words,” she said. “It’s a pain that reaches into the very core of who you are and leaves emotional scars that may never fully heal.”

Filing a lawsuit

Graves filed a 26-page civil complaint against Sean Combs, Joseph Sherman, Bad Boy Entertainment, and others in federal court in New York. She is the first person to publicly accuse Combs of such acts.

In her lawsuit, she expressed the emotional toll the assault has taken on her, saying, “The trauma of the assault has taken a toll on my mental health. I have PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I am emotionally scarred. It has been hard for me to trust others, form healthy relationships, or even feel safe in my own skin.”

Criminal charges and ongoing legal battles

Combs was arrested on September 16 and is currently facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, but his bail has been denied twice.

The lawsuit also mentions “freak-offs,” which were allegedly elaborate sexual performances that Combs arranged and directed. Graves claims that she was dating a Bad Boy Records executive at the time of the assault and that the incident took place in 2001.

Emotional and public response

As Graves’ video testimony gained traction online, social media users expressed outrage, demanding that justice be served. Her attorney, Gloria Allred, hosted the press conference at her Los Angeles office, emphasizing the significance of Graves coming forward with her story.

Graves concluded by saying, “I’m glad that he is locked up, but that’s a temporary feeling of relief.”
