An alleged leak of the whole roadmap of new Fortnite content, including details about what’s in store for the following season, has surfaced, and it could be one of the most significant revelations.
The information that hits Epic Games’ lovechild first surfaced on 4chan, an X (previously Twitter)-based leaker. A number of Fortnite leakers appeared to confirm its legitimacy. However, if the rumor is true, it will drastically violate Epic’s secrecy by revealing the studio’s next-year plans to users.
The leaked document describes several interesting advancements for the game’s future, beginning with Chapter 5, Season 3, which is said to be apocalyptic-themed. This season is likely to provide a heavy metal flavor to Fortnite, with iconic band Metallica slated to appear in the game. Fans can also expect Pirates of the Caribbean-themed skins.
Chapter 5 of Season 4 is expected to be another collaboration with Marvel, this time featuring the Fantastic Four. But this would not be the MCU’s old Fantastic Four, but the upcoming one, starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
Chapter 5, Season 5, promises a nostalgic return to the original Fortnite experience, but details are kept under wraps.
The contents of Chapter 6 remain unknown.
The leak also discloses the following four stars scheduled to appear in Fortnite:
- Billie Eilish might appear as early as Tuesday.
- Metallica in June
- Karl G. in August
- Snoop Dogg in October
Fortnite’s LEGO mode is scheduled to receive Star Wars content, as well as the return of LEGO Klombo from past Battle Royale seasons.
Billie Eilish’s participation is especially intriguing, given her recent Oscar. In addition, the Fantastic Four movie will not be released until 2025, and a new Pirates of the Caribbean feature appears to be a long way off.
So, the possibility of several skins beyond the classic Jack Sparrow is going to raise some eyebrows.
There is conjecture that Doctor Doom will be the primary opponent in the Fantastic Four plot, or possibly Galactus, who has already made an appearance in Fortnite, may return.
