PROKONECT is excited to announce Yousra Moudrika has joined the PROKONECT team as the Controller and FP&A Services Manager. In this role, she will serve as the controller for clients along with reviewing financial reporting and developing financial strategies. Yousra will also be working towards developing the controller and CFO services for PROKONECT.
Yousra pursued the path of becoming a Canadian Certified Public Accountant, following the footsteps of her father. She also holds an MBA from university of Trois-Rivieres and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Concordia University. She has worked in both private and public accounting with an intensive knowledge in the tech sector and the startup ecosystem, as a whole.
Yousra worked as a senior auditor at Grant Thornton and started her tech venture at the giant CGI Group where she was an accounting policies manager. She also worked at the Quebec Bar Association in their fraud investigation department.
Prior to this, she taught in university of Trois-Rivieres financial and managerial accounting in the MBA program. She then worked as Head of Accounting in the reinsurance industry as well as in multiple successful E-commerce startups where she mastered the best practices and financial strategies for tech startups.
Yousra is recognized for her great analytical skills and her ability to navigate complexity. Her great versatility and communication skills make her an ingenious and creative accountant.
She has been thinking for a long time that the world of accounting must change, and she believes in technology and the power of advisory. She shares our values of surpassing oneself, courage, dedication and having fun.
