Paranormal Team Plans Extraterrestrial Invitation in West Lothian
A team of UFO researchers is preparing to conduct an unconventional experiment aimed at inviting extraterrestrial spacecraft to Dechmont Woods in West Lothian, Scotland, later this month. The attempt will utilize a controversial technique known as Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind (CE5 Protocol), led by veteran paranormal investigator Malcolm Robinson.
What Is the CE5 Protocol? A Controversial Communication Protocol
The CE5 method, developed by Dr. Steven Greer of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence, involves group meditation, focused telepathic intentions, and specially designed sound recordings. These elements are believed by practitioners to promote peaceful, voluntary contact with unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).
Robinson explained the process to The Scottish Sun, stating:
“We are trying to bring any off-world craft into our airspace. There is a desire to bring forward these objects, which people claim to be UFOs or UAPs. The meditation will send out a desire for open contact.”
He added that during previous trials, participants witnessed “flashing lights,” suggesting the method may hold some merit.
“In the background, we play these special sound effects, which help to enhance the mood but also the meditative process. It all sounds very airy-fairy, I get that, but this has been tried successfully all over the world,” Robinson said.
Site of Scotland’s Most Famous UFO Encounter
The planned CE5 gathering will take place at the site of one of the UK’s most well-known UFO incidents, the 1979 Dechmont Woods encounter.
Forestry worker Bob Taylor reported seeing a dome-shaped craft in the woods near Livingston. According to his account, he was physically dragged by spiked, mechanical objects, which left him with torn clothing and minor injuries. The case drew national attention, and although police investigated the matter as a potential assault, no logical explanation was ever found.
An Unfolding Experiment in Extraterrestrial Communication
The upcoming CE5 experiment is organized by Strange Phenomena Investigations, which hopes to establish contact through what they believe to be conscious interaction. The team remains optimistic about the results.
Whether the skies above Dechmont Woods will light up again remains to be seen, but the effort marks another chapter in Scotland’s long-running fascination with the unknown.
