Sophie Hall, a plus-size social media influencer, sued Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill for allegedly ‘breaking her leg’ during a backyard football lesson at his Florida home, according to a lawsuit obtained by DailyMail. The woman is suing the wide receiver for battery, assault, and negligence.
According to the report, Hall claimed that Tyreek Hill charged at her with ‘crushing force’ after knocking him backward during football drills. She soon found herself in the group, and her leg had broken.
Last year, Sophie Hall registered her child for Hill’s football camp. The NFL star eventually flew her to his home just outside of Miami, according to the lawsuit.
“Ms. Hall now brings this action to recover compensatory and punitive damages for the significant harm that Mr. Hill caused by his intentional and reckless misconduct,” the lawsuit, filed in Broward County Court on Feb. 23, states in its introduction.
Hall is suing Hill for battery, assault, and negligence.

Hall, a British native with over 2 million followers on various social media platforms, shared Instagram screenshots of her introduction to Hill, which she claims never happened until she bought a ticket for her son to attend the Dolphins receiver’s “Tyreek Hill Football Camp” on June 17, 2023.

In a social media interaction on May 24, 2023, Hill messaged “in a flirtatious and playful manner” that Hall was not 6-foot-1, as stated in her bio. Hill responded after Hall revealed that she had purchased the camp ticket, saying she would be “towering over everyone” and “I’ve been known [sic] to be a good stepdad.”
Hall claims Hill gave her his phone number and invited her to his house after the June camp. The lawsuit goes on to state that Hill provided Hall with flight and travel arrangements so that he could spend time with him at his mansion on June 28, 2023.
Hall claims that Hill worked out with his football trainer on a turf field at his mansion and that after his session, he “invited Ms. Hall to participate in offensive line drills with him.”
“Defendant Hill asked Ms. Hall to stand in a defensive line stance while he stood opposite her in an offensive lineman stance, ‘hiked’ the ball to the quarterback, and told her to rush him as if she wanted to chase the quarterback,” the lawsuit states. “Ms. Hall did as instructed and, on contact with the defendant, caused Hill to be pushed backward, garnering laughter from the witnesses present at the time, including the defendant’s mother, sister, friend, and trainer.”
Hill’s “attitude changed, and he became angry,” according to Hall while preparing for another play. This time, Hill was allegedly on the defensive line, and “Ms. Hall held her own against Mr. Hill.”
On the fourth play, Hall claims to have remained an offensive lineman while Hill played pass rusher. This time, Hill allegedly “charged into her violently and with great force, resulting in significant and serious injuries.”
“The crushing force was so great that she sustained a right leg fracture, necessitating surgery with metal hardware implantation,” the lawsuit reads.
Hill allegedly dismissed the injury and “simply told her to rest and offered her a bed to lay down and ice her leg.” Hall stayed at Hill’s house until travel plans could be made to return home a few days later.
Hill “failed to get her any medical attention or treatment at any time,” so Hall returned home and saw an orthopedist on July 1, 2023. She was diagnosed with a right leg fracture.
Despite “weekly physical therapy sessions” and visits to a specialist, Hall claims she continues to experience “persistent pain and weakness in her lower extremities.”
“Defendant Hill’s aggression towards Ms. Hall is consistent with his history of violent and aggressive behavior towards women,” the lawsuit also states.
Hill has had a contentious off-field history,
Hill has had a contentious off-field history, including a 2014 incident in which he was kicked off the Oklahoma State football team after being charged with felony domestic assault and battery by strangulation. Crystal Espinal, Hill’s girlfriend at the time, claimed he choked and punched her in the stomach and face.
Espinal was eight weeks pregnant with Hill’s baby at the time. Hill eventually pleaded guilty to the charges, and a plea agreement with the district attorney’s office resulted in three years of probation.
Hill has also faced child abuse allegations, including one in 2019, for which he was suspended by the Kansas City Chiefs. He was eventually reinstated after pleading his innocence, and a district attorney determined that there was insufficient evidence to prove he had broken his son Zev Carter’s arm.
Hill has also dealt with multiple paternity lawsuits, one of which is still pending in Broward County Court after being filed on May 15, 2023, and another that was reopened in the same court on January 17, 2023.
