This comes after the ousted CNN host’s show on X, the platform that was previously known as Twitter, was canceled last week. While neither Musk nor Lemon have acknowledged whether the former CNN anchor had a list of demands in exchange for his show on X, multiple sources suggest the latter requested an $8 million salary, a $5 million upfront payment, a Tesla cyber truck, equity in X, and the ability to approve any changes to the platform. The 58-year-old’s spokesman denied the New York Post’s story.
“This is absolute, complete utter nonsense without an iota of truth to it,” Lemon’s representative said.
On Tuesday, the New York Post reported that Don Lemon asked for a free SpaceX ride. He wanted to host a podcast in space. “First podcast in space to be hosted by Don (via SpaceX),” the media outlet cited a bulletin as reading. Don Lemon has not reacted to the claim.
