Video depicts disturbing stunt

A shocking TikTok video showing a man using a three-month-old baby to wipe snow off his car’s windshield has triggered widespread outrage on social media. The incident, which occurred in Port Arthur, Texas, has since gone viral and is now under investigation by local authorities.

Disturbing footage goes viral

Originally posted on the TikTok account @heaven_is_psyco, the now-deleted video captured the man repeatedly moving the infant around as he used the baby to clear snow from his vehicle. The footage quickly drew the attention of online users, who condemned the reckless act and voiced concerns about the child’s safety.

Police investigation underway

In response to the public outcry, the Port Arthur Police Department has launched an investigation into the incident. A patrol lieutenant and a detective have been assigned to the case, and a welfare check was conducted at the man’s apartment. Police have since made contact with the individual featured in the video and are considering filing child endangerment charges against him. Additionally, the case has been referred to Child Protective Services for further review.

Speaking to local TV station KFDM, a city attorney expressed his dismay over the video. “It’s a sad situation. I know a lot of people go to social media looking for clicks, but this is not the kind of stunt you should be involving a baby in,” said Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso in an interview with The Independent.

Baby reported to be safe

Despite the disturbing nature of the footage, authorities have confirmed that the baby was unharmed. Investigators are continuing their efforts to ensure the child’s safety and determine the appropriate course of action.

As the investigation unfolds, this case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by reckless social media stunts—particularly those involving children. Experts and law enforcement officials have repeatedly warned against engaging in hazardous behavior for the sake of online notoriety, emphasizing the real-world consequences that can follow.
