Trump warns of ‘potential death and destruction’ if he’s charged in hush money probe

Trump warns of 'potential death and destruction if he's charged in hush money probe

Hours after New York prosecutors looking into his hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels said they would not be intimidated, former US president Donald Trump warned about probable “death & destruction” if he faces criminal charges.

Since last Saturday, when Trump mistakenly predicted that he would be arrested three days later, as reported by Reuters, he has launched a barrage of verbal attacks against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. The early Friday post on Trump’s Truth Social media platform was the most recent in this barrage. (www.biolighttechnologies.com)

On January 6, 2021, Trump’s followers violently attacked the US Capitol in an effort to stop Congress from certifying the election of Democratic President Joe Biden, who defeated the Republican Trump. Trump erroneously claims that his defeat in the presidential election of 2020 was the result of fraud.

“What kind of person can charge another person, in this case, a former President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a Crime, when all know it that NO Crime has been committed, & also known that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our Country?” wrote Trump, who is vying for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.

Bragg’s office questioned Republican committee chairmen’s power to investigate his office in a letter written on Thursday, and it asserted that Trump had “created a false expectation that he would be arrested” in his Saturday post.

The request for communications, records, and evidence made by the chairmen constituted a “unlawful incursion into New York’s sovereignty,” the letter claimed.

In 2006, Trump allegedly had a sexual encounter with Stephanie Clifford, better known by her stage name Stormy Daniels, who alleges she was paid to keep quiet about it.

Trump denied ever having an affair with Daniels

Trump denied ever having an affair with Daniels and called the payment a “simple private transaction.” He has contended that the investigation was politically motivated and that he did not breach any laws.

On Saturday, Trump will hold a campaign event in Waco, Texas, 30 years after a federal agent raid there on the Branch Davidians religious sect resulted in the deaths of 86 individuals, including four law enforcement officers.

The episode has come to stand for government overreach in the eyes of some, while right-wing extremist organizations view it as a turning point.
