Oklahoma pastor who predicted Trump's assassination bid now issues earthquake warning

Brandon Dale Biggs, an Oklahoma pastor who gained attention for his alleged prediction on the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, has issued a new prophecy warning of catastrophic seismic activity along the New Madrid fault line.

Previous prophecy and Trump incident

Biggs had previously prophesied in a March 14, 2024, YouTube video that Trump would face an assassination attempt where “a bullet flew by his ear.” This prediction gained credibility after Trump survived a shooting incident in Butler County, Pennsylvania, where assailant Thomas Matthew Crooks fired a shot that reportedly grazed Trump’s ear before being neutralized by security personnel.

New earthquake prediction claims

The pastor’s latest vision warns of:

  • A magnitude 10 earthquake along the New Madrid fault line
  • Potential death toll of 1,800 people
  • Devastating impacts across Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois
  • Rerouting of the Mississippi River

Scientific perspective

However, geological experts dismiss the possibility of Biggs’ predicted earthquake magnitude. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) categorically states that earthquakes of magnitude 10 or greater are physically impossible on Earth, as no known fault line is long enough to generate such force. For context, the largest recorded earthquake in history was the 1960 Chile earthquake, measuring 9.5 on the Richter scale.

Biggs’ prophecy joins a growing list of predictions for 2025 from various seers and prophets. Nostradamus, the 16th-century French astrologer known for his purported accurate predictions, has been interpreted as forecasting an asteroid impact for 2025. Meanwhile, Baba Vanga, another renowned prophet, has warned of significant natural disasters along the U.S. West Coast and volcanic activity in the coming year.

Analysis and implications

While Biggs’ previous prediction regarding Trump has garnered attention, geological experts emphasize the importance of relying on scientific data rather than prophetic visions when assessing seismic risks. The New Madrid fault zone does present genuine geological concerns, but these should be evaluated through the lens of scientific research rather than prophetic predictions.

The convergence of various prophetic warnings for 2025 highlights humanity’s enduring fascination with predictions of future events, particularly in times of global uncertainty. However, experts continue to emphasize the importance of disaster preparedness based on scientific evidence rather than prophetic visions.
