Ed Sheeran is hitting the road again, this time with the North American leg of his highly anticipated LOOP Tour 2026. The British singer-songwriter, known for his blend of heartfelt ballads and arena-sized anthems, will launch his U.S. stadium shows on June 13, 2026, in Glendale, Arizona, before traveling across major cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto, and Las Vegas. The tour will wrap on November 7, 2026, in Tampa, Florida.
The announcement comes just a week after the release of Sheeran’s eighth studio album, “Play,” which has already generated buzz with singles such as “Azizam,” “Sapphire,” and “Camera.” For fans eager to see him live, securing tickets will require some planning.
Why the LOOP Tour matters for Ed Sheeran and his fans
Sheeran has built a reputation as one of the most tireless performers in music. For longtime fans, the LOOP Tour represents more than another set of concerts. It’s a chance to experience Sheeran’s evolving artistry, from his trademark loop-pedal performances to full stadium productions blending acoustic intimacy with pop spectacle.

What makes Ed Sheeran concerts unique?
Sheeran is famous for his loop-pedal technique, which allows him to layer guitar riffs, beats, and vocals live on stage, essentially becoming a one-man band. Even in stadiums of 60,000 fans, he often strips down to just his guitar and pedal board — a rarity in modern pop tours that rely heavily on pyrotechnics and pre-recorded tracks.
The LOOP Tour will likely blend this minimalist approach with the grandeur of stadium production, offering a balance between intimacy and spectacle. Fans can expect tracks from “Play” alongside older hits like “Shape of You,” “Thinking Out Loud,” and “Perfect.”
Why this tour is expected to sell out fast
- High demand: Sheeran consistently ranks among the top-grossing touring artists. His Mathematics Tour grossed more than $775 million worldwide (Billboard Boxscore).
- Limited North American window: The LOOP Tour’s U.S. dates run for less than five months, creating urgency.
- Album momentum: With “Play” still fresh, fans are eager to hear new material live.
