Ironmouse Accuses Agency of Withholding Personal and Charity Payments
Ironmouse, the world’s most popular VTuber, announced on Monday that she is parting ways with Vshojo, her long-time talent agency, citing over $500,000 in unpaid dues. In a video posted to her YouTube channel, where she boasts more than 1.3 million subscribers, the streamer claimed the company failed to pay both her and a charity organization significant sums.
“Vshojo owes me a lot of money. They also haven’t paid over $500,000 that was supposed to go to the Immune Deficiency Foundation,” she stated in the video.
Unpaid Charity Contributions Spark Outrage
According to Ironmouse, the sum owed to the Immune Deficiency Foundation, an organization close to her due to her own health struggles—has not been transferred despite repeated follow-ups. She accused Vshojo of delaying or withholding the funds that were promised as part of fundraising streams.
A Major Departure in the VTuber World
The announcement marks a major shift in the VTuber space. Ironmouse, known for her high-pitched operatic voice, chaotic humor, and pink-haired demon queen avatar, has become one of the most recognized faces in digital entertainment since her debut in 2017.
Born in Puerto Rico, Ironmouse has amassed a massive following on Twitch, YouTube, and social media. Her content often blends music, gaming, and candid conversations about living with common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), a serious immune system disorder.
Vshojo Yet to Respond
Vshojo, a U.S.-based agency specializing in virtual talent, has not issued an official statement in response to the allegations at the time of publication.
